About the artist:

Adawy is an artist, designer and animator from Gaza, Filastin. And a dear friend and colleague.

Before the war, Adawy and 3 of his friends had started a creative studio and were making animations, designs and websites for international clients. It was a small, but successful creative business. Since the war, they have lost everything, and have been forced into displacement.

But Adawy refuses to give up on art. He uses it to express the horror and hardship he sees and feels each day. Adawy is a husband and father of two beautiful daughters. Every day he works to try and provide for his family, and to give his girls a reason to hope for a better future. 

All profits from this print go directly to Adawy, and help him and his family survive, and inshallah, rebuild his creative studio and keep making beautiful art for the world to see.
